Bloomfield College Announces Dean's List

Bloomfield College would like to congratulate all the students who have achieved Dean’s List status during the Fall 2018 Semester.

The Dean’s list is published at the end of each semester and is based on academic performance as measured by grades achieved during that semester. Notation of inclusion on the Dean’s List is made in the student’s permanent record, and is included on all transcripts of the student’s grades.

Full-time students are eligible for inclusion on the Dean’s List every semester. Part-time students are eligible after two consecutive semesters during which they complete at least four course units. Part-time students may only count the same semester for inclusion on the Dean’s List once. Summer courses are not considered when determining a student’s eligibility. Students who receive a grade of “Incomplete” are not considered for Dean’s List in that semester. Students who are awarded “Honors” have achieved a quality point average of 3.5 or higher; those receiving “High Honors” have achieved a quality point average of 3.8 or higher.

If the student would like a printed certificate they can go to the Academic Affairs MyBloomfield Portal page and complete the request form.

Students who are named to the Dean’s List for the academic year (achieving Dean’s List in both the fall and spring semesters) will be honored at a ceremony each year in October. Invites to that ceremony are emailed to students at their Bloomfield College email account in September.
